Leadership Development · Our Approach
From workshop to workplace.
Most leadership programs end when the workshop does. Ours is built with you, to keep working long after: co-designed around your people, reinforced on the job, and measured until the culture actually changes.
The problem with most training
The workshop was great. Then Monday happened.
The moment someone tries to apply a new skill back at work is the hardest part, and the point where most programs quietly stop helping. Without structured support right there, the new behaviour rarely survives contact with a full inbox and an old habit.
How Response works
- Co-designed around your strategy, people and data
- Coaching and real assignments between every event
- Culture and behaviour measured three times, not once
- Graduates into an Alumni network so it doesn't fade
- Experiential workshops, not lecture-style delivery
- No death-by-PowerPoint sessions
- Adult-learning principles that engage, not disengage
- Hands-on exercises that make it stick (yes, even juggling)
How we work with you
One engagement, six stages, no off-the-shelf content
Every program is co-designed: this is the shape that process usually takes, from the first conversation to a self-sustaining culture of leadership.
Site visits, stakeholder conversations and a psychological-safety benchmark survey (PS25) establish where things really stand today.
We build the program with your leadership team: content, cohorts and timing shaped around your organisation, never pulled off a shelf.
Three progressive events (Self, Team, Organisation) blended with virtual coaching, online resources and peer learning between them.
6–8 week application windows, individual coaching, and Action Learning projects tied to real business initiatives, not hypotheticals.
PS25 and 360° feedback are repeated at three points across the program, so the impact is evidenced, not assumed.
Graduates join an Alumni program: webinars, refreshers and a peer network that keeps the capability alive after we leave.
Why it sticks
Learning happens in the room. Change happens after it.
We design for the six to eight weeks between events as carefully as we design the events themselves, because that's where a new skill either becomes a habit, or quietly disappears.
Multi-day, offsite events built around real work, not case studies from someone else's industry.
Individual assignments and Action Learning projects, chosen from your organisation's real priorities.
1:1 virtual coaching and cohort check-ins catch the moment application gets hard, before the habit is lost.
Proof it works
Programs built for the organisations that run them
A sample of long-running engagements across construction, mining, government and manufacturing.

Fulton Hogan
Starting with the Board and C-suite, the program cascaded to every manager in the business: a company-wide transformation away from a historically "tell, not ask" culture.
A Large Australian Meat Processor
One overextended supervisor covering 80–90 workers on an extended slaughter floor, constantly firefighting. We helped decentralise control into nine floor-embedded team leaders, each running a daily 30-minute huddle.

Hyne Timber
A family-business, "tell vs ask" culture. Starting with the C-suite and cascading down, 300+ managers went through the program over 18 months, shifting leadership from a top-down function to something happening at every level.

US Borax
An organisational leadership program re-engineered for shift-based, geographically spread teams, later cascaded to supervisors and the frontline workforce.

Newmont Goldcorp
A 3-year cascading Safety Leadership Program that trained senior leaders to run their own safety-culture sessions, lifting safety behaviour across the whole workforce, not just management.

Queensland Health
Senior and regional leadership programs delivered across eight years, three Directors-General and two major restructures.

Transport & Main Roads QLD
Twenty years of executive strategy, coaching and change work, including leading a three-district regional restructure end to end.
JBS Australia
Diploma of Leadership & Management, built on the same program and materials as our non-accredited offering with more rigorous assessment, tailored to their Huon Aquaculture site.
Queensland Rail
Co-designed and delivered the Chief Executives Accelerated Leadership program, run for a number of years with the CEO's direct personal support.
Mater Hospitals
A board-sponsored senior management leadership program run over four years, with an internal engagement survey and external 360° feedback before and after.

Same program, tailored to the site
Our Diploma of Leadership & Management can be tailored into a specific industry segment, as we've done for JBS's Huon Aquaculture team: same core content as our broader leadership development program, delivered as an accredited qualification.
